Apart from the general design for the stroller we also did research on a user centered design from production to consumer. The stroller had to be very durable and production should be in Belgium. Every part is designed and fabricated by three local compagnies.
The materials are very durable and usage is granted for multiple customers.
The quest for the best production method was essential to provide a collection that is durable and has a low production cost without plugs to produce a collection with a low amount of productions. The challenge was to design a product which is functional, economical en esthetic.
Productie
Besides design and engineering we also organized the purchase of the different parts and the monitoring of the production. Through constant dialogue with the suppliers we were able to control the entire production proces, which made us able to lower the costs. Great partnership with the suppliers lead to a smooth colaboration. Speed and quality are very important.
Renders
Currently about on hundred buggiess are being used throughout Flanders. The combination of online booking and the possibility to advertise on the panels, results to free usage by young families.
